2019 In the summer of 2019, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health (HPEPH) initiated this project to conduct a Community Food Assessment (CFA) that spans both Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. HPEPH identified the need for a CFA with the goal of engaging with community stakeholders and residents to better understand the challenges and opportunities for improving the accessibility, affordability, availability and adequacy of nutritious foods in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. 2018 This report summarizes finding of a homelessness enumeration conducted from April 17-23, 2018. The data found provides information about the characteristics and needs of people experiencing homelessness with the goal of helping improve how our community responds to homelessness and take action to prevent and reduce homelessness.
